NAIDOC Painting

On Parade on Wednesday afternoon, the school was presented with a Deadly painting which was painted by Mr Darryl McCarthy and all the Indigenous Students in the school to celebrate NAIDOC week. What a wonderful opportunity for our students to have the opportunity to learn first hand about indigenous art. Congratulations to Lilly Tanner who stood up on parade and explained the meanings within the painting - Well done Lilly and thank you also to the Indigenous Elders who joined us for the afternoon, we were honoured by your presence. A big thank you goes out to Darryl and Trish who spent several days doing this art work, our school deeply appreciates your time.
