Welcome to Darling Heights State School.
Darling Heights State School is in the south west quadrant of Toowoomba, near the University of Southern Queensland. The school provides comprehensive education to approximately 650 students from Prep to Year 6 in a co-educational setting. Our school has a diverse and culturally rich population having approximately forty-five languages spoken, with about 300 students having a language background other than English.
The school support system has a special education program attached as well as a dedicated EAL/D (English as an additional language or dialect) group. We are truly a multicultural school with acceptance, tolerance and understanding of others being features that we celebrate throughout the year. This is also reflected in our value statements: Grow with Knowledge; Many Paths, Many Futures.
